Yes. Every artwork available on Chitra Veethi is a 100% hand-painted original. We do not sell or promote printed or digital reproductions.
Are Tanjore and Mysore paintings made with real gold foil?
Yes. Our traditional Tanjore and Mysore paintings are made using authentic gold foil, sourced from certified suppliers. Real gold foil maintains its natural shine and does not fade or turn black over time.
What is the difference between real gold foil and synthetic gold foil?
Real gold foil is made from genuine gold and has a natural, long-lasting shine. It stays bright and untarnished even after years.
Synthetic or imitation gold foil, often used in cheaper reproductions, can fade, darken, or peel with time.
At Chitra Veethi, we use only authentic gold foil, and in the rare case of discoloration, we offer free gold-foil restoration after verification.
Do you sell prints or copies of paintings?
No. Chitra Veethi deals exclusively in original, hand-painted artworks—not prints, replicas, or digitally reproduced copies.
What does “Original” mean on Chitra Veethi?
“Original” refers to a hand-painted artwork created by Dr. Kamini Jain, by artisans working directly with Chitra Veethi, or sourced from verified Indian artists. “Original” does not imply copyright ownership by Dr. Kamini Jain or Chitra Veethi unless specifically stated.
Are canvas paintings created by Dr. Kamini Jain?
Yes. All canvas paintings featured on Chitra Veethi are original creations by Dr. Kamini Jain.
Are the paintings sold with frames?
Some artworks are sold with frames, while others are frameless so that you can choose one to match your décor. Each product description clearly mentions whether framing is included.
How should I care for my painting?
- Tanjore & Mysore paintings: Keep framed and away from sunlight or moisture.
- Canvas paintings: Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth only.
- Gold-foil paintings: Do not rub or scratch; handle gently to preserve the foil’s shine.
- Glass paintings: Clean with a soft cloth—avoid spraying cleaners directly.
- Always keep paintings away from high humidity or heat.
What if the gold foil on my painting fades or turns black over time?
Authentic gold foil does not fade or blacken. However, if discoloration ever occurs, Chitra Veethi will replace or restore the gold foil free of cost after inspection.

Each painting is carefully packed with multiple layers of protective material to ensure it reaches you safely and securely.
What if my painting arrives damaged?
Please record an unboxing video while opening your parcel. If there’s visible damage (like broken glass or scratches), email the video and photos to support@chitraveethi.in within 24 hours of delivery. We will assess and provide rectification such as glass or gold-foil replacement.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major digital payments through Razorpay, including UPI, debit/credit cards, and net banking.
Do you offer Cash on Delivery (COD)?
No. Chitra Veethi only accepts prepaid online payments to ensure safe and verified transactions.
Can I commission a customized painting?
Yes. We accept commissioned artworks based on your preferred theme, size, or deity. For custom art requests, please contact us on WhatsApp to discuss feasibility and timelines.
Can I return or exchange a painting?
No, as each artwork is a unique hand-painted creation, we do not accept returns or exchanges once sold or dispatched.
Do you provide a certificate of authenticity?
We do not issue formal certificates of authenticity. However, every painting is verified by Chitra Veethi as an original, hand-painted artwork crafted by our trusted artist network.
