Please read them carefully before making a purchase.
1. Authenticity & Artwork Definition
- All artworks sold on Chitra Veethi are hand-painted originals. We do not sell or promote prints, digital copies, or reproductions.
- References to “Originals” indicate that the painting has been hand-painted by Dr. Kamini Jain, by artisans directly associated with Chitra Veethi, or authentic works sourced from verified traditional artists.
- The term Original does not imply copyright ownership by Dr. Kamini Jain or Chitra Veethi unless explicitly stated.
- All canvas paintings are original creations by Dr. Kamini Jain.
- Wherever mentioned, Chitra Veethi ensures the use of authentic gold foil as stated by its certified suppliers and purchasers.
- Genuine gold foil does not fade or turn black over time; however, in the rare case that it does, Chitra Veethi will replace or restore the gold foil free of cost after verification.
- Gold-foil authenticity or replacement does not extend to non-gold decorative elements or to damage caused by mishandling, exposure, or improper storage.
2. Pricing & Taxes
- All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and inclusive of applicable GST.
- Offers, prices, and promotions are subject to change without prior notice at the sole discretion of Chitra Veethi.
3. Orders, Payments & Checkout
- Orders are accepted only through the official Chitra Veethi website or verified social channels.
- Payments are securely processed via Razorpay or other approved gateways.
- Cash-on-Delivery (COD) is not available.
- Orders are confirmed only after successful payment and email confirmation.
4. Shipping, Delivery & Packaging
- Artworks are packed in secure protective materials to minimize transit risk.
- Chitra Veethi is not responsible for courier delays, customs clearance issues, or other circumstances beyond its control.
- For international orders, customers must contact Chitra Veethi via WhatsApp (+91 9599207015) before placing an order to confirm availability, shipping charges, and handling requirements.
5. Damage, Returns & Replacements
- No returns or exchanges are accepted once artwork has been dispatched.
- Customers are strongly advised to record an unboxing video at the time of opening the parcel; this serves as proof of any damage or tampering.
- Any visible damage (e.g., glass breakage, scratches, frame defects) must be reported within 24 hours of delivery with photographs and the unboxing video emailed to support@chitraveethi.in.
- Upon verification, Chitra Veethi will arrange for suitable rectification such as glass replacement, frame repair, restoration, or—where applicable—re-application of authentic gold foil.
- Monetary refunds or compensations are not applicable.
6. Artwork Care & Preservation
To preserve your artwork’s beauty and longevity:
- Tanjore & Mysore Paintings – should be framed and not kept unframed, as exposure to dust and moisture may dull the finish or affect gold foil. Avoid direct sunlight and humidity.
- Canvas & Gold-Work Paintings – wipe gently with a dry, soft microfiber cloth only. Do not rub or scratch, as real gold foil may wear off under friction.
- Glass-Framed Paintings – clean glass with a soft or slightly damp cloth; never spray cleaners directly.
- General Care – keep away from direct heat or moisture (kitchens, bathrooms). Handle only with clean, dry hands. Store flat and covered when not displayed.
Damage arising from neglect, cleaning agents, or failure to follow these care guidelines will not qualify for replacement or repair.
7. Customized & Commissioned Artworks
- Custom or commissioned orders follow predefined timelines and approvals.
- Once initiated, they cannot be cancelled or refunded.
8. Intellectual Property & Copyright
- All artworks, photographs, and website content are protected under copyright laws.
- Purchase of an artwork does not transfer copyright ownership.
- Reproduction or commercial use without written consent is prohibited.
9. Website Content, Colour Variance & Artistic Interpretation
- Images and descriptions are provided in good faith; minor variations in colour or texture may occur due to screen and lighting differences.
- These variations are not considered defects but part of each artwork’s natural individuality.
10. Privacy & Data Protection (DPDP Act 2023 Compliant)
- Chitra Veethi complies with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
- We collect only basic information (name, address, email, phone) for order fulfilment and promotional updates.
- We do not collect or store Aadhaar, PAN, or other KYC documents.
- Customer data is never shared with third parties, except where required by law or payment processing.
- Customers may request data correction or deletion via support@chitraveethi.in.
11. Limitation of Liability
- Chitra Veethi is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from artwork use or website access.
- Liability is limited to the order value.
12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Indian law and subject to the jurisdiction of Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.
